Scouting & Wilderness Hike - Part II of our BGC

Part II of our Big Game Clinic will be on Saturday, July 22nd!

Scouting & Wilderness Hike

Indian Creek Trail - Sedalia, CO

Topics/Skills that will be covered:

1. Prep discussion on what to pack and what to wear (Zoom meeting on 7/17, 6pm)

2. Navigating/orienting

3. Locating signs of deer/elk/game trails

4. Glassing

5. Brief First Aid/Survival Basics

6. Range finding and shooting positions practice/where to set-up

This event will be $60 per person. Lunch & snacks on the trail will be provided, as well as some pack essentials!

We will be limiting this segment to 12 ladies.

On Monday, the 17th, we will host a 30 minute Zoom meeting to discuss what to pack, what to wear, and what to expect. Snacks and lunch will be provided for all participants, but you will be expected to pack in your own food and pack out your own trash (don't forget carrying water for yourself!). We'll go over specifics on the call and be sure to answer any questions.  

We will start the hike at 8am which means everyone must arrive by 7:40am in order to situate packs, meet your fellow wilderness seekers, and go over any safety notes. Garrett will meet us at the trailhead and set expectations. We will plan on ending the segment between 11am and 12pm - just depends on how long it takes to get through all of our skills and questions! 

RSVP's are due on 12th and payment must be sent by end of day on the 13th. You'll receive payment info when you RSVP.
