About the Event
In the 1990’s Denver Sables had yearly “Fur the Love” events to honor two members, Shirley Leta and Annette Feist during the Valentine’s season who had recently lost their life-long “loves”. We met at Mable’s Furs in downtown Denver and had a “fur fest”, trying on beautiful furs, shopping, posing for fun pictures and enjoying champagne followed by a fancy lunch downtown. We followed this tradition for several years and then we lost Mable (she was 94 years young) and discontinued this special event.
We restarted this event in 2015 celebrating Valentine’s Day, beautiful furs, clothing and friends at Dan Sharp Luxury Outerwear in Cherry Creek North and the tradition continues for the eighth year!
Dan, the store owner, has supported the Sables’ Education Programs and appreciates the fact that we understand the conservation of hunting and trapping. No pressure to buy, but Dan will have some discounted items that…
